The Nighthawk's nose has been rebuilt after it's las flight. While in the shop it acquired some Rudder action to boot. A simple push-pull set-up. The plane is built on a 1/2" thick foam base w/o reinforcement except for two newly added 1/4" dowels along the leading wing edges for strength and to provide a resilient and aerodynamic wing edge. The tails are reinforced with 1/8" dowel. On a calm day the Nighthawk is fun to fly. This video was shot with the cheap Kodak mini-cam. I will get this camcorder back in the air soon. It takes good video even if it does weigh 92grams (3.3oz.). Specs are: RCP F-117 Nighthawk with Microjet v3 motor with a 6x4 prop, 30amp ESC, 3 Hitec servos, 11.1v 1500mah battery, DX6 radio. The plane is made of 1/2" Pink OC Formular base with Dow Blue-cor superstructure. All held together with copious amounts of Gorilla glue. The Music on this video is from Handel's Water Music.
